PHEW

So at 8 a.m. this morning I FINALLY finished illustrating a picture book with 26 double-pg illustrations - phew. much happiness! i also illustrated 4 adorable poems that should be out as an e-book soon. Sadly will not able to share previews of either until they are officially out. But what a blast it was working on both projects! Finally a Sunday where I can just put my feet up and read a book or watch some tv ... ooo or bake a cake!

A very special anniversary gift - personalized

I LOVED that I got the opportunity to work on these illustrations for a first anniversary gift that a young wife wanted to gift her husband of one year on their anniversary. It was printed on a cushion cover. Now it may look like one easy, single illustration but this actually took me few weeks because each illustration has to be drawn and then realized. I am pleased that the client liked it - well worth the effort. This is also a great idea for all you newly-weds reading! ;-)

A Personalized Mug Design

My sister's friend loves beer- a lot apparently, so she wanted to gift her friend a mug with this funny quote. I can go on about how much I love illustrating for personalized gifts! Something so special about them.

Personalized gift for a tiny tot

Another personalized gift! Why go to the store and pick up a gift off the shelf when you can make the gift so much more special. Like this one for a lil girl who turned 1 and who absolutely loves fish. Many years down the line she will still cherish this and of course her aunt who personalized this gift for her.

A Special Wedding Invite

This is the third wedding invite I have illustrated and I think everyone should send out personalized wedding invites because it adds to the special-ness of that special day in your life. Looking forward to doing many more. (oh wait, one more coming up this December. yay!)
