How it all begins - pencil + paper!

For the love of illustration!

After all those hours spent huddled at your drawing desk, sketching away in a frenzy to meet a looming deadline, by the time the final page is sent to the publisher I'm exhausted! But finally seeing the book in print is the high point in an illustrator's life. It's even nicer to see your name on the book cover of course, hehe. These are few copies that publishers were kind enough to send me. There are board books that I never got to see a copy of, hmph!

NEW! Activity book for kids

This is one of the most fun projects I have worked on - an activity book for kids with some fun trivia about the city I live in - Mysore. I've shared an image of the book cover and one of the pages from the book here but all the other pages are packed with landmarks, fun trivia, interesting personalities and lots of colour. This book was done for the cool folks at Royal Mysore Walks and was used on their kids tours. Check out their website here to know more about what they do- http://royalmysorewalks.com/

Custom-made Poster

This is a poster that was custom made for a friend that is in their bar area at home. Wanted to capture the Indian 'standing bar' scenario while also staying true to my colourful drawing style. Happy client = happy me.

Cover illustration

This is a cover image I did for the facebook page of Yathes.com, an online gift store - a startup based in Chennai. Tried a different style with this illustration and mighty pleased with the outcome. Check out Yathes' FB page here - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Yathes/170125289789842?ref=ts&fref=ts
